Introduction

Ltd. is formed under the guideline and registration given by Ministry of corporate affairs and this Accreditation body frame work is established as per ISO/IEC 17011:2004- CONFORMITY ASSESSMENT - GENERAL REQUIREMENTS FOR ACCREDITATION BODIES ACCREDITING CONFORMITY ASSESSMENT BODIES. "


Due to pandemic effect of COVID 19, globally travelers who hired hospitality services will be very cautious on selection of hospitality service. Hospitality service providers also looking for a standard to develop and maintain a sustainable standard for their guest satisfaction.

Given the current COVID-19 outbreak, it is important that all hotels, restaurants and other hospitality units take suitable measures to restrict any further transmission of the same or similar /virus, bacteria or Fungal while providing Hospitality services to the guest. The standard will ensure that all documented system related to hygiene, sanitization and safe practices are in place. The guidelines aim to minimize all possible physical contacts between Staff and Guest and maintain social distancing and other preventive and safety measures against COVID-19. It also endeavors to make the traceability of the guests easier, in case a situation in future warrants so.

The standard is addressed to collective tourism accommodation establishments such as hotels and similar establishments, holiday and other short-stay accommodation, and campsites.

The travel and hotel industries are primarily based on human interaction between not just the 'host' and the 'hosted' but also amongst the patrons themselves and fear of people is not good for business. Travel itself is slated to become a time-consuming and inconvenient process post the crisis when elaborate health and travel history checks as well as distancing measures are put into place. These measures, however, will need to be emulated by hotels in order to reassure travelers of their safety.

The accreditation standards outlines various generic precautionary measures to be adopted in addition to specific measures to be ensured in hotels and other hospitality units (henceforth, ‘hotels’) to prevent spread of COVID-19 or similar viral, bacterial or fungal attack.
